Brief Thailand is a middle-income country located in the centre of the South-East Asian peninsular. Its economy is heavily dependent on exports - mostly electronic components, agricultural commodities and tourism services - which accounts to more than two thirds of GDP.
Thailand has numerous laws to protect Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). With increasing efforts by the Thai Government to suppress fake and infringing goods in the marketplace, there have been significant advancement towards effective protection of IPR in line with international accepted standards.
